Despite the fact that the weather forced a postponement and quick fire rearrangement, around 270 children enjoyed a day packed with 4v4 action at Curzon Ashton FC's Tameside Stadium.

It was World Cup time. Unfortunately our national team didn't do too well, but that paled into insignificance as we enjoyed an unforgettable 13 weeks, as JSL Summer League was born.
